Trust Meeting Tonight

Last updated : 20 April 2006 By Stray Shots Team
In a message on Shotsweb, PaulM has reminded supporters about tonights meeting saying,"As long as there has been a Aldershot Town FC Internet message board the subject of ‘why doesn't the club have a Supporters Trust' comes up at least twice a year without fail. Tonight could finally be the first step on the road to one being formed by and for supporters.

"As well as Supporters Direct representative Kevin Rye there will be representatives from Supporters Trust committee members from both Farnborough and Reading Trusts.

"Depending on the questions and answers the meeting is expected to last between 60 and 90 minutes.

"As well as Hampshire there are people coming from Surrey, Berkshire, Kent, Sussex, Wiltshire and London (and probably more we don't know about).

"It doesn't matter if you're not entirely sure what a Supporters Trust entails that's what this meeting is for. I expect everyone in attendance will learn something tonight and hopefully with enough support it will be decided that a Trust be formed which will go on to be a catalyst for both Supporter and Club growth.

"The bar will be open for refreshment and all are welcome. The evening starts at 20:00."

Please see the following link for further details - and Shots Mad urges everyone who is available tonight to attend.
