35-year old Shots defender Jamie Vincent has left the club.
The experienced defender joined the club from Walsall during the summer months eventhough he had been offered a new deal with his former club, however he was looking for a return to the area so opeted to sign for The Shots under former manager Kevin Dillon.
Jamie, who has made 499 senior appearances in a career that has spanned clubs including Derby County, Huddersfield Town, Swindon Town and AFC Bournemouth, made his debut in the opening match of the season in the goal less draw at Accrington Stanley.
Since the arrival of Dean Holdsworth, he found his first team opportunities were limited and had not started a match since the visit to Gillingham in late January and in recent weeks it was known that the player and club were in talks to agree a compensation package to pay out his contract.
Everyone at the Stray Shots wishes Jamie well and hope he is back playing with a club in the near future.
