Justin Miller: Impressed supporters - but not the manager
The 27-year old South African had been on trial at the EBB Stadium, training with the squad and also featured in the clubs pre-season friendly matches against Chelsea and Crystal Palace, however the defender played for Chelmsford City in their friendly against Canvey Island on Friday evening and Waddock told BBC Southern Counties Radio yesterday that Miller was not staying with the club.

27-year old defender Lee Canoville however, has continued at the club and featured as a second half substitute in yesterdays friendly against Staines Town. The former England Under 16 International was joined by Nigerian right-back Chris Kanu, who is the younger brother of Portsmouth's Nwankwo and 21-year old Irish centre-half Kieron Murphy, the former MK Dons player who featured for Crawley Town against The Shots last season.

Former Lewes goalkeeper Michael Jordan also gained forty-five minutes between the sticks, while Wealdstone defender Jono Faal-Thomas replaced Kanu at half-time before Kanu was re-introduced with ten minutes of the match remaining.
