Speaking to the site he said, "I'm looking forward to building this club up and trying to gain Football League status again. It may not happen straight away - we'd love it to happen straight away, but I'd rather long term success than just instant success and then it all fades away."
During the interview, Waddock states that he wants a mixture of experience and youth and is hoping to build his side around the younger players.
