Shotsline has announced today that club captain, Steve Watson will undergo a second operation to his groin following next Tuesday.
Watson went under the surgeons knife prior to this seasons kick off in a bid to be fit but has been routed to the sidelines recovering until recently. Having helped the side to some much better performances of late, the player has been struggling and now needs a second operation as the first proceedure has clearly not worked.
It's a big blow for both club and player but news from Terry Brown recently suggests that striker Roscoe D'Sane could be back playing by the end of the month will help to lift supporters spirits as the Shots continue to look at climbing from the foot of the table in what is turning out to be a difficult season.
