Yet Another Injury Crisis Hits Hard As Derby Looms

BBC's Ceefax service has reported that Darren Barnard, Brett Johnson, Ray Warburton, Tobi Jinadu, Steve Watson and Roscoe D'Sane are all out for tomorrows clash at Cherrywood Road. A further doubt is over the fitness of Nikki Bull who missed Sunday's match having dislocated his fingers – but having made the bench for the Trophy match, it is hoped that he will be fit enough to make the starting line up.

Three points for the Shots tomorrow would see them move up from 11th to 3rd in the table – 17 points behind Barnet and 3 points behind Carlisle United. The move up the table would only be temporary – baring a miracle, but is crucial if the club are going to repay the supporters for what has been a fairly miserable season so far.

With all of the injury worries, new temporary signing Umarr Congo could be in line to make his debut for the club whilst Ceefax has both Andrew Glasspool and Jason Short to retain their places in the starting lineup.
