Two goals by Joel Grant sent Jamaica to a 2-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) in their first-leg of the CONCACAF Under-20 Final Round play-off at the Harbour View Mini-Stadium yesterday.

Grant, who plays for English Premier League outfit Watford, opened the scoring in the 32nd after collecting a through pass from midfielder Micheal Binns and calmly slotted home around the advancing T&T goalkeeper. Grant struck again with a beauty in the 75th minutes when he volleyed home an attempted clearance to give the young Boyz a 2 goal cushion going into the second leg in the twin-island republic on Wednesday, December 6.
