Shots manager Kevin Dillon has announced that 17-year old Jack Randell has joined the club on a one year contract.
Speaking to the clubs official website, he said: "Jack is one for the future. He is a little bit different to what we have got and plays in the hole off the striker. He did play for our reserves and performed really well creating a number of chances and scoring too.
"I am looking forward to working with him and with Reece Connolly too. We have some youthful talent at the club which is encouraging. They are energetic which is what you need as well."
The youngster continued: "I was recommended to Aldershot and enjoyed the reserve matches last season. I am delighted that the club have decided to take me on. I like to link up with the attack but like scoring goals too. My experiences at Crystal Palace were important for my career and I am hoping to show at Aldershot what I am capable of doing.
"This is a new chapter for me and I want to be a part of Aldershot Town and help take them to a new level."
