Aldershot Town Football Club have confirmed that goalkeeper Jamie Young has signed a one year contract at the club.

The 24 year-old Australian-born keeper joined the club in March teaming up with manager Kevin Dillon for a second time in a deal that kept him at the club until the end of the season.

Talking to The Shots Online Jamie said: "I have been so happy playing football again and enjoying my time with Aldershot.  The start of last season was a tough one for me so to be involved with a good side that reached the play offs was great.

"I always aim to play as well as I can and represent my family in everything I do.  I am grateful to have had the opportunity at Aldershot Town and we have all learned a great deal due to the experiences of the last few months of the campaign.

"Everything about the club has been positive since I arrived.  The supporters have been terrific and I have been made to feel so welcome and I look forward to seeing everybody again at the start of the new season."
