Aldershot Town Football Club wish Jason Chewins every success as he embarks to New Zealand, initially for six months, but possibly on a permanent basis.

The Alton based former shots defender remains the record appearance holder at 489 appearances during his 10 year period at the club starting in 1994.

Subscribers to The Shots Online will be able to view "The Jason Chewins Story" starting next week on the premium service.

In an eight part video interview Jason will recall his time at the club from joining, through to how Paul Shrubb saved him from leaving the club in his first season.

Jason will also talk in depth about the Steve Wigley years, the truth behind George Borg and when he was put on the transfer list and the times under Terry Brown's tenure.

Subscription to The Shots Online costs just £5 per month. The service includes pre and post match video and audio interviews with management and players, SMS Text servicing on all goals from first team matches as they happen plus pre match team news and other key information from the club.

Home video highlights of Blue Square Premier and FA Trophy matches are included too.

The "Jason Chewins" Story is the first of a number of planned interviews with Shots legends of the past that The Shots Online aims to feature in the future.

To re-iterate the service costs £5 per month and all monies goes to Aldershot Town Football Club
