Drax Moves On

Non-league website www.nonleaguedaily.com have reported that former Shots striker Johnson Hippolyte has left his former club Yeading to team up with Maidenhead United.

Drax, as he is known, enjoyed a spell as a coach with another of his former clubs Chesham United following the end of his playing career before moving to Yeading as the assistant manager.

He became the manager during December 2001, winning the Ryman League Cup in 2003 which was folowed with back-to-back championships which saw Yeading move quickly up the Ryman Leagues and in to the Nationwide South.

In 2005 Yeading reached the Third Round of the FA Cup where his side lost out to Newcastle United live on BBC1.

Drax takes over at Maidenhead after todays match in an 18-month contract.
