Ex Shot Goes Home

Former Shot and England semi-professional international Tarkan Mustafa has committed himself to Ryman League Division One South club Worthing.

Experienced left-sided defender Mustafa, who was previously with Wimbledon, Barnet, Clapton, Kettering Town and Leyton, joined Dagenham & Redbridge in February 2003 from Rushden & Diamonds.

Mustafa (pictured) had helped the Diamonds to win the Conference title having joined them from Kingstonian in the summer of 2000, shortly after winning an FA Trophy winners` medal with the K`s.

He transferred to ambitious Hornchurch in May 2004. However, in February 2005 he moved onto Aldershot Town and just over a year later made the switch to Lewes, although his stay at the Dripping Pan was a brief one as he swiftly moved onto Worthing.

However, last September he briefly returned to East London and joined Blue Square South side Thurrock before spending the rest of the season at Eastleigh
