Steve Cordery, manager of Ryman League Premier Division club Staines Town, completed some good business following the Swans' narrow 2-1 defeat to a Fulham XI at Wheatsheaf Park on Wednesday - signing midfielders Dwain Clark and Lewis Cook, both from Blue Square South side Maidenhead United.

Both players had initially appeared for the Swans the previous Saturday, against their subsequently former Club and agreed to move to Wheatsheaf Park after impressing again in midweek. Indeed, Cook was awarded a player of the match award after the game by the match sponsors.

Twenty-eight year-old Clark, had recently seen service with Chelmsford City and Lewes and has also recent Conference National experience with both Canvey Island and Aldershot Town, after having appeared for a number of Ryman League clubs
