Blue Square South club Havant & Waterlooville have announced the capture of three exciting players ahead of the start of the new season.

Strikers Jamie Slabber and Leroy Griffiths featured for the Hawks in pre-season matches along with winger Michael McEnery.

22-year-old Slabber is a proven striker at non-league level having previously played for Aldershot Town, Grays Athletic, Oxford United and Stevenage Borough.

Griffiths started his career at Hampton & Richmond Borough in 1999 and made a £40,000 move to Queens Park Rangers in 2001.

The London-born forward has gone on to play for Farnborough on two separate occasions and can list Margate, Fisher Athletic, Aldershot and Grays amongst his former clubs.

McEnery started his playing days with Newport before having a spell with Island neighbours East Cowes Vics, returning to Wight's senior side in the summer of 2004.
