The Aldershot News has reported that former Shots player Koo Dumbuya watched in awe as the previously goal-shy Cards ripped his team apart with Justin Richards (3), Craig McAllister (3), Mark Rawle (3), Steve Evans (2), Steve Ferguson and Lloyd Blackman all finding the target.
But Dumbuya sensationally believes the result could actually HELP his side ahead of Saturday's tough league trip to joint leaders Flackwell Heath.
He said: “This could be what we needed, it could turn our season around.
“A defeat like that against top class opposition shows up all of our faults.
“I'm a realist and didn't expect we could win it, but it was a matter of pride and I did expect more from my players.
“The only good thing about being on the bottom is the only way to go is up. It's up to us now to pick the players up and get Woking out of our system in time for Saturday when the serious stuff starts again.”
Koo has obviously never heard of relegation.
With thanks to the Aldershot News.
