Miller Joins Borough

The official Stevenage Borough website has confirmed that 23-year old former Shot, Adam Miller has joined them from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

Miller played 53 times in a Shots shirt, scoring 12 goals before being snapped up by the R's - the club he also supports.

The dream move began well and the player made 10 league and 1 cup appearance, however he was recently told that he was free to look for another club and although there has been interest from Oxford United, Colchester United, Leyton Orient and a host of Conference clubs, Boro manager Graham Westley managed to beat other clubs to his signature and he has signed on an 18 month contract.

Rather suprisingly, the "undisclosed fee" that Aldershot received for Miller has been quoted on the official QPR site as beeing "a free transfer" and with him leaving for free, the Shots stand to make nothing out of the deal.
