Sills Off After Four Minutes

Hereford boss Graham Turner saw his team hold a promotion-chasing side to a goaless draw for the second successive week when they faced Swindon Town on Saturday.

MK Dons left Edgar Street with a point last week and Town could not find a way through the Bull's defence either.

In fact, Hereford had much the better chances, especially in the first half, but found themselves thwarted by Town keeper Phil Smith.

Referee Paul Melin flashed cards like confetti and Turner was not impressed to see substitute Tim Sills red-carded barely four minutes after entering the fray.

It appeared that the former Shots player responded to a chant of "Who are you?" from the Town fans.

Mr Melin objected, brandished the yellow card and when the player continued to argue, he was off.

Turner said, "I was disappointed. It was just a bit of harmless banter."
