Injury Worries Ahead Of New Season

Terry Brown has been dealt a blow with the news that both Gary Holloway and Darren Barnard have picked up injuries, causing “serious concern.”

Barnard has had to undergo a scan on a hernia, and was due to get the results as the News went to press. Holloway has a knee injury and will also need a scan to determine whether he will need to surgery.

“We're not sure how Barney has got this hernia and whether he will need an operation but it could be serious. Holloway might have an operation but should be back within a month.

“We had legislated for the injuries to Steve Watson, Nikki Bull and Tim Sills so they had operations, we didn't expect to have this now, but the injury to Barnard is not very good at all,” said Brown.
