Dave "Von" Winfield - almost available for selection

Karl Beckford and Jonny Dixon will both be available for selection again this week starting with the visit of Grays Athletic having both recovered from their minor knocks.

Both were rested against Brading Town on Saturday as an extra precaution however Marcus Gayle injured his knee ligaments in the match and is expected to be missing for at least six weeks.

Defender Dave Winfield gave Shots manager Terry Brown a brief period of hope following his return from the toe injury that took forever to heal, however is now unable to train through a bout of tonsillitis which could keep him out for another week.

Andy Edwards is set to make his return to the Recreation Ground this Saturday as he has had the pins removed from his broken leg and is out of hospital.
