After being stretcherd off the field, the popular winger received initial treatment at the ground and was able to speak to the clubs official website after the match, "It is hard to take especially when you have been working hard but I will keep positive whilst I await a scan.
"My studs got caught in the ground and the grass was long. All the weight has gone through my standing leg as I tried to take off and I got a crunching sensation in my leg which concerned me.
"I will know the extent of the damage after the scan but touch wood I am hoping it is a strain or a slight tear but we will have to wait and see. I am devastated because morale in training has been fantastic and it has been great with the gaffer and Kuhly. Everyone is raring to go for the new season".
