Chelsea Reserve Match To Get Pitch Inspection

With the Recreation Ground pitch suffering from heavy rainfall over the last few days, it will be subject to a pitch inspection this afternoon and the decision will be announced on this site as soon as it is known.

Should the game go ahead, Brendan Rodgers's young side will be hoping for more of the good form that brought an excellent 3-0 win over an experienced Aston Villa team in their last league outing. Ben Sahar netted a hat-trick in the game a fortnight ago.
