The 18-year-old was originally set to play in the reserves' 0-0 draw against Arsenal last night (Monday) but was withdrawn to finalise the move. Instead he is eligible for Doncaster's League One visit to Nottingham Forest tonight.
Worley becomes the second reserve squad centre-back to go out on loan in the past week. Twenty-year-old Adrian Pettigrew, recently returned from injury, will spend the rest of the season at League Two Wycombe.
Such moves in an attempt to gain developing players first experience are becoming increasingly popular.
Other young players currently out on, or recently returned from, loan are:
Goalkeeper James Russell at Walton and Hersham; defender/midfielder Jack Cork and defender Ryan Bertrand, both at Bournemouth; Michael Mancienne at QPR; midfielder Jimmy Smith, also at QPR; midfielders James Simmonds at Cardiff and Anthony Grant at Wycombe; striker Scott Sinclair at Plymouth.
From the first team squad, Glen Johnson is spending the campaign at Portsmouth.
