Last week the Acting Chairman of the Supporters Trust enjoyed a very constructive meeting with Peter Duffy and Richard Petty.
There was discussion about areas of common interest and both parties are continuing to identify how the football club and the Trust can work together to best effect to provide the most benefit to the club, supporters and local community.
The Trust is looking forward to a positive future, fulfilling its aim of co-operation with the club to help it meet the challenges it faces while also bringing about improvements for supporters. In addition there was an agreement in principle for the Trust to begin developing two projects - one of them being a significant piece of work - which will be explained in more detail at the Trust's Annual General Meeting on 8th June at the EBB Stadium.
Successful delivery of these projects would between them have a positive impact in helping to reduce the club's costs, improve the matchday experience for supporters and provide a tangible benefit to the local community.
One of the projects even has the potential to provide a revenue stream for the Trust that can be used to help fund further beneficial projects in the future.
The Trust hopes as many members as possible will attend the AGM on 8th June where the Trust Board will answer your questions and outline our plans for the coming year.
