For the third time in a week Gary Waddock has seen his Aldershot Town side battle and compete on their travels only to fall a touch short as they did in this Coca Cola League Two encounter at Dean Court courtesy of Jason Pearce's header early in the second half.
Boss Waddock introduced Dave Winfield [pictured] for his first match of the season with Lewis Chalmers being named on the substitutes bench. Winfield partnered Chris Blackburn at the heart of the visiting defence with captain Adam Hinshelwood at right back, Cherries, after collecting maximum points in their opening two games, were unchanged. Former shots midfielder Mark Molesley, who made 42 appearances in the 2006/07 Conference campaign started as did veteran striker Steve Fletcher. Boss Eddie Howe intimated in the build up to the match that the 37 year old may not be able to play two matches in a week but chose to select the north easterner along with talented Channel Islander Brett Pitman who caused so many problems in the fixture at Dean Court last season.
