"We gave them the opportunities to deliver some excellent crosses into the box and were punished for it. This was a big day and we would have loved to have progressed to the next round but it was not to be. I think that in the final third we tried to force the issue a bit where we needed to show some composure. Millwall took their chances when they cropped up and that was the difference.
We have already tasted Coventry and Swindon Town in the cup this season. Again we gave a good account of ourselves but we come away with nothing. We made life easy for them by the way we conceded the goals though. We have a young group of players and we are ambitious as a club and we are trying our best to move forward and it would be fantastic if we could come to grounds like this more often.
"Our supporters were fantastic as they have been all season and for large periods they outsung the Millwall fans."
