Dagenham & Redbridge got back to winning ways and heaped further away-day misery on Aldershot Town with a hard fought 3-0 win.
It was sweet revenge for the Daggers who were thrashed 4-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
Chances were few and far between in the early exchanges with Aldershot's best chance falling to the loan signing from Weymouth Chukki Eribenne in the sixth minute.
However, he was unable to seize the opportunity after a defensive mix-up in the home side's ranks and could only put his tame effort across an open goal from a tight angle.
For John Still's men, Mark Janney should have scored in the 23rd minute when Chris Moore put a stinging ball across goal, but he missed the ball by inches from two yards out.
Moore, again, almost created a goal two minutes later, playing another delightful low ball across goal but Craig Mackail-Smith could not celebrate signing a new contract at the club with his first goal as a professional footballer.
When Dagenham did finally score, it was no surprise that Moore was the architect. He beat two players as he burst through on goal before being taken down in the box by Shots lkeeper Nikki Bull. Lee Flynn stepped forward to convert the penalty.
The Daggers doubled their lead in the 38th minute when Anwar Uddin, a 15th minute replacement for Ashley Vickers, struck a sweet first-time shot from all of 40 yards which Bull had no chance with.
Aldershot came out all guns blazing after the interval but had nothing to offer in the final third with Chukki Eribenne missing two more gilt-edged chances.
Dagenham made the points safe in the 68th minute. Jake Leberl headed the ball across goal for Moore to arrive unmarked and arrow the ball into the net from close range with his head.
