On the back of last Saturday's impressive 3-3 fight back at Leigh RMI, the Shots continued their great start to the season by brushing aside Dagenham and Redbridge in front of 2748 spectators at the Recreation Ground.
First half goals from Tim Sills, Jon Challinor and Aaron McLean together with a second half strike from Nick Crittenden saw the Shots secure three points moving them to second position in the league.
The ninety minutes was controlled by the Shots and although Nikki Bull was forced to make a couple of spectacular saves, there never seemed to be any doubt as to whom the eventual winners would be. In an entertaining match, both sides managed to miss a penalty and the Daggers also had defender Ashley Vickers dismissed shortly before half time when he tried to push Aaron McLean in the face having been brought down by the tricky winger.
Although several Shots players would have left the field wondering how they didn't manage to make the score even greater, Terry Brown's men will already be looking ahead to Tuesday's tough away trip at Edgar Street with a lot less fear.
