Supporters Club To Run Away Travel

Last updated : 03 August 2007 By Stray Shots Team

Shots Chairman, John McGinty has pledged his full support behind the decision to allow the Supporters Club to take over once again, the running of the away travel service.

The Supporters Club had run the facility in the past however the club "took over" the operation resulting in a fairly poor service during the 2006/07 season as the club appeared to drift away from the supporters under the Chairmanship of Karl Prentice.

With the new air of optimism under John McGinty and new manager Gary Waddock, the supporters are being invited back to be a part of the clubs future and Mr McGinty has offered supporters the chance to be picked up from inside the ground immediately opposite the players entrance and the Phoenix Club. The coach will also drop off at this point on its return to the ground.

This is a great opportunity for the supporters club to take complete control and be able to subsidise away travel.
