The website have stated that following Fairclough's appointment as National Game XI manager, he then also took the full time role as Barnet manager which, ordinarily would not be allowed - however all parties agreed to see the season out.
They went on to report that the Conference are of the opinion that the National Game XI manager should not have connections with any Conference club so as they can act independantly at all times and it is believed that at a recent meeting of clubs Chairmen every one expressed their dissatisfaction with the current situation.
They also stated that the board meeting also saw discussions on a proposed new European Competition at National Game level which, while announcements have been made, little or no details have been provided by the FA to back up what has been talked about.
It's believed that Conference officials have written to the FA and that both parties will meet towards the end of this month to hold further talks.
